Illinois Aid Programs
Programs Administered by the State of Illinois

Grant Programs
Grants are awards that are based on financial need or other special requirements and do not need to be repaid when school or college is completed.

The Monetary Award Program (MAP) is the third largest program of its kind in the nation and provides need-based grants to Illinois residents attending an eligible Illinois institution. In addition to MAP, ISAC administers seven specialized grant programs.

Specialized Grants

Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program
Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) Program (Need-based)
Grant Program for Dependents of Police or Fire Officers
